Though I no longer maintain an active glass studio, I do have significant experience in Glass working. And I still do commissions based on these capabilities:

Glass Fusing/Casting: Many years of successful fusing and casting for academic projects, retail sales and commission work. I specialize in multi-layer fused works that incorporate additional cast glass elements.
Lathe/Hand engraving:
Successful execution of course work, retail sales and commission work with both hand engraving (Fordham) and lathe (diamond and copper wheel) equipment. Successfully demonstrated lathe engraving with portable Merker at craft shows (2012) and by invitation for Ace Hardware local artist festival (2013).
Project Management:
Assistant project manager for Pilchuck Glass School’s PoleTurners (2010 and 2009). Extensive experience managing large teams and complex IT projects in an academic environment (1996-2019).
Teaching & Demonstration:
I am comfortable speaking extemporaneously with individuals and to groups. As an artist who is also an ice hockey coach I am adept at quickly identifying my audience, creating appropriately paced curriculum and providing demonstrations to youth and adults.
